“TDH” Texas Department of Health as qualified and approved us for a
grant of 2000 dollars to be used for communications
equipment. Grants and
donations make it possible for this department and
many other departments
like ours to grow and help us provide better service
to our community.

Klondike
responded to a grass fire off of FM
2890 in the Blue Bayou area. This
involved two apparatus from Klondike and one from
Cooper to contain and
involved about 20 acres of property. This call was somewhat difficult to
battle due to the recent rains limiting access to
areas burning resulting in
two trucks and a wrecker getting stuck.
12-27-01
Klondike,
Cooper and Enloe responded to a fire at KC Interiors/Klondike Collision
at approximately
9:40am. The fire quickly spread and
soon overtook the entire
structure. Nobody was injured during the incident. A few firemen were treated
for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is undetermined.

Klondike
and Cooper responded to a motor vehicle accident on FM 904 about
1 mile north of SH 24 around 12:30pm. The accident involved 2 vehicles.
Nobody was seriously injured.
12-31-01
Klondike
and Enloe assisted Cooper with fire off of 64 near the Sure Start Plant.
The fire which started a vehicle fire ignited a grassy
field which consumed around
20 acres.
Nobody was injured.
